Each student must log on to Blackboard (BB) to take and submit their assignment for independent grading. Students may choose from one of the following options or seek approval in advance from the professor to complete an alternative Proof of Concept assignment.
After reading the article, students will complete one of the following tasks: title the page with the option below.
Analyze a real-world event based on the article readings for that week.
Application reflection: After reading the article, identify two main points and reflect on how they apply to your life or lived experiences.
Compare and contrast the article readings with another article of your choice. Include a thesis statement in the first paragraph, followed by the body (main points you will want to compare), and end with a conclusion (your thoughts regarding the content).
Article Critique/Analysis: Using one or two of the critical thinking elements of thought’ evaluate the validity of the article. Use the attached Elements of Thought document as a guide for critical thinking.
Create two or three open-ended questions and interview two people regarding the topic. Share their thoughts, experiences, and expressions, and write a conclusion that integrates what you learned during the interview with your perspective or critique of their response. For this task, you may use questions from the chapter readings for the upcoming week.
Biblical integration: Assess two fundamental principles from the article and analyze how one or two biblical characters demonstrated or failed to demonstrate these principles.
Discussion: Create three discussion questions for the class, and write your response to your question before submitting the assignment on Blackboard.
Format: One page, double-space, Times Roman, 12-pitch, one-inch margins, APA format to include in-text citation and reference page, as appropriate.
