Hello to all. Congratulations to everyone.

Congress passes legislation to support programs designed to bolster mental health among healthcare professionals.
Mental health is a topic that many do not care to address. They oftentimes feel awkward or embarrassed to talk about it. We must protect our state of mind and keep a piece of mind. This is how we survive and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Mental health can be a murky topic; however, we must address and offer our help to people that are afraid to ask for help.

Healthcare professionals worked long hours during the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. This took a toll on lots of people. I, myself, work in the health care sector and it was very stressful trying to monitor, create, and make people feel safe during the high times of the pandemic. I’m a case manager/social worker for a Medicaid entity. My caseload consists of the elderly and the disabled. This was very challenging trying to assure people that they were going to make it through. It was all about communication, education, and support. This is part of mental help assistance. Oftentimes, people are not strong enough mentally to deal with stressors. Listed below are important topics of mental health.

Awareness.
Signs of mental breakdown.
Communication.
Peer-support groups.
Suicide Prevention and education.
Advocating for each other.
We must break the stigma and support one another when it comes to mental health.
